A self-paced online program designed to help you write your novel.
Write Your Novel is a creative writing course for commercial fiction writers wanting to start (or finish) their novels.
In this course, I teach writers not only how to take an idea and work with it to build a story, but I also cover important elements of writing commercial fiction.
In order to finish a novel, it's crucial for writers to get into the right mindset. Drawing on my coaching background, writers in this program will feel fully supported to work with some of the common challenges associated with writing (and finishing) a novel.
Once classes kick off, you'll be able to access all the training modules, workbooks and recordings. You can complete each unit at your own pace. Writers in this program will have the opportunity to join a warm and welcoming private Facebook group, especially for students.
Registrations open twice a year for classes that start in September and March.
I hope to see you in class...
The Little Writing School is more than just an online creative writing school. I wanted to create a place where writers in the community can come together to learn and be inspired. Every writer enrolled in the program will receive access to a private Facebook group to connect, ask questions, and share their writing experience with others.
I also wanted to be able to give back to the community, so I created The Little Writing School Scholarship whereby each semester three eligible writers will receive entry into the Write Your Novel Program. You can read more about these scholarships and entry requirements below.
I want these writing courses to equip writers with the knowledge, confidence and commitment needed to craft a novel, because it's not just about craft and technique. It's also about mindset.
The Write Your Novel Program is designed to support writers by providing a comprehensive look at the elements of writing a novel, from the ideas stage to execution, as well as tips, and a dedicated module on 'The Writer's Mindset.' As the author of three traditionally published works of commercial fiction, with another on the way, I've drawn on my own experiences in crafting this program. It consists of everything I wish I knew before I sat down to write my first novel.
Delivery of the flexible course is completely online, supported with PDF workbooks, audio and video recordings. Writers can complete the program at their own pace, or week by week.
Enrolments are now open. I hope to see you in class soon!
With best wishes,
